Comprehensive Care for Teens
Ages 12 - 18

If your child has undergone early orthodontic intervention, they will be ready to embark on comprehensive orthodontic treatment as they enter their teen years.

With childhood orthodontic intervention, children receive early orthodontic treatments designed to address isolated issues that may impede healthy oral development. This primarily involves monitoring and conservative treatments where necessary to enable the adult teeth to grow correctly. 

Early orthodontic treatment is almost never done in isolation. Rather, it is a precursor to treatment during the teen years when all the adult teeth have emerged. This is when we'll use braces or Invisalign to straighten teeth and correct jaw and bite misalignments.
